The goal of Cynthia's photography is to create images that remind you of the beauty of our planet and, to summarize Matisse, "To provide an easy chair for the mind."  Cynthia formerly worked as a graphic designer and co-founded a design studio that produced work for the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, Michigan Opera Theater, University of Michigan and Cranbrook Educational Community. She graduated cum laude from the University of Michigan School of Art and Architecture. Cynthia brings her background in design to create compelling, classically composed images with a concern for balance, structure & beauty. Her work has been published in the Leelanau Enterprise and can be found in private collections and in the permanent collection at Cranbrook Educational Community Archives.
